Peyote Bluff Glacier Diptych  Multi Media 30"x24" - 30"x15"          $1,995.00

Peyote Bluff Glacier Diptych (30x 26” & 30”x 15”) is a sister project to Peyote Bluff Glacier a 30”X 15” painting that is a representation of a river that formed on a glacier system, near Peyote Lake in Banff National Park of the Canadian Rockies. The Peyote Bluff painting in this series is hanging in the "Nesbitt Gallery's" permanent collection at the University of Oklahoma, Arts and Science. I find a lot of my inspiration for painting in geology; this river system represents what is known as a braided river system. Braided rivers change configuration very quickly with channels shifting forming new islands and channels daily, much like life, they are constantly changing, with little hope of predicting there next shape.
