I hope my departed friend Frank Zappa will forgive my ripping off his title. This is a 12”x36” multimedia painting, inspired by a photo that was taken from the Hubble telescope. It is of a linear arm of a distant galaxy, with materials that will form planets and an estimated three million stars in the one band alone. The painting is a loose interpretation of the photo, but I claim artistic licenses.
